How are almonds made?

Almonds are the nut of the almond tree.

When the almonds are ready for harvest the tree is shaken so the nuts fall to the ground and are collected.

The almond consists of the hull, the seed and the kernel. It is the kernel that is considered an almond as we know it.

Directions:

Add to trail mixes or eat by itself as a nutritious snack. Make your own almond meal or almond butter. Sprinkle on salads, soups, muesli, or cereal. Add to your baking – Biscuits, slices and muffins. Add to breads, crusts, crumbs or lightly toast with spices for a delicious topper for just about anything.

Warnings:

Store below 30C in a dry place away from sunlight.
