For a drop dIssey, the perfumer imagined a modern lilac, a full-bodied, floral fragrance at the intersection of nature and technology. Lilac is a uncatchable flower, meaning its scent cannot be extracted from the flower in nature and must be recreated by the creative talents of a perfumer. Using green chemistry, they make the most of highly innovative techniques while protecting actual lilacs since the flowers dont need to be harvested. In the top notes, Damask rose adds a pure, sheer floral facet. In the heart of the fragrance, lilac is enhanced by a note of ethically sourced orange blossom and an almond milk accord.
